You may remember, back in November of last year, Eastpak unveiled its huge “Artist Studio” collection, featuring collaborations with the likes of KENZO, Vetements, Christopher Raeburn and more. Well, tucked away among that collection was an imaginative new take on what the backpack can or should be. It was thought up by Berlin-based brand Inan, and it comes with a completely integrated hoodie.
The water-resistant backpack is made from 000D fleece, and comes with a detachable hip strap and braided leather zipper pullers — the kind of premium features you would usually expect from a backpack. Things get a little more interesting, though, when you realize that the Germany-inspired hoodie is actually a part of the bag itself.
It features a German flag across the front with a thick white stripe (one of Inan’s motifs) running down the zipper. And don’t worry, it can be detached whenever you don’t feel like wearing it.
Unfortunately, the bag is already sold out but the two brands have released an accompanying accessories collection that is equally as dope — if a little more conventional. Check them out below.
